This weekend was my first official night away from baby girl! She will be 11 months this coming Wednesday so I knew it was time and thanks to my girlfriends upcoming wedding, a bachelorette was a great reason!
Friday I was unsure if i would even go. I recorded a call from daycare at 215 as Julianne wasn't eating or drinking or sleeping and I dead throwing anything given to her and a complete bear. We knew her sixth Roth was coming as she was doing her usual signals - sleeping and eating a bit more than usual and way needier. Daycare wanted permission to give her some Tylenol. I have permission but also went over to cuddle her, nurse her and take her home so she got some sleep (the car is her kryptonite).
We had plans for a date night and I was worried she wouldn't be good for the sitter. I would have canceled the date but for two reasons I didn't : 1) date night is something I am trying my best to make sure we do once a month. As that is important for our wellness and relationship. 2) I had already bought two tickets to the goldeyes game and it was too short notice to sell them.
Brittney, our babysitter is super awesome. She had Julianne asleep by 615. We enjoyed the game and Julianne slept.
Saturday I gauged Julianne and her tooth had finally come out (second eye tooth). I decided to leave and head to Brandon and trust chad had it covered.
He is so amazing but also a prankster. He recorded goofy videos and I believe the two of them had a good time.
I was amazed at two things 1) I was able to enjoy myself and not worry (I truly have faith in chad!) and 2) I wasn't as engorged as I expected. Both are good things and next Friday we do it all over again as I'm in Brandon for the wedding pre night stuff and chad will be with Julianne in Minnedosa
