I feel as though I haven't caught my breath since yesterday at 6 am when I woke up and Julianne was still sleeping. It seems like the days are flying by and although I'm not complaining I am forgetting things and having stuff pile up --- literally!
For example yesterday I raced around at work and did my workout at lunch. I then had dinner plans with friends from Thompson and the city but also had plans with a friend I. Beausejour. Naturally I can't be in two places at once but I felt terrible as I didn't let one side know and they showed up and I wasn't there (I hadn't realized I had double booked and then when I remembered I couldn't call to let them know and then forgot when I could safely call them)
And whine I finally got home 8 pm it was time to unpack and repack for today. Feed the dogs, call my friend to apologize etc. thankfully Julianne has been only waking up once these last few nights for a feed so I am getting somewhat 7 hrs.
Then today I should have set my alarm for earlier but instead I had 30 min to get ready and get Julianne nursed and dressed and out the door as I had a free personal training session at 7 am in Selkirk. Julianne came with me as I was too rushed to drop her off beforehand. She did great and was inspiring for my workout but then I was rushed to get her to daycare and myself chbaged for work. Lunch was a dress fitting for my gfs wedding coming up and then after work it was groceries pick up Julianne feed her, make lunches, do garbages and recycling, bathe Julianne, nurse Julianne, feed dogs, and then get myself organized for tomorrow as it's another 14 hour day away from the house!
I cannot wait until chad is don't training and around a bit more often so I gave those extra set of hands to help! Kudos to single parents as I truly admire you! It's hard to do it all and leaves little time for yourself.
And on that note I have to run tonight as I have signed up for a 5 km run sept 12 and haven't been training for it. So that's on tonight's agenda after I'm done all my duties around the house
