We we are back at the hospital today to get her bilirubin re tested to make she her jaundice is going down. I am so glad to hear that it's not milk related, that she isn't starving and I don't have a milk issue like last time.
i think that is the biggest thing I notice myself doing a lot with Caroline --- comparing her to Julianne. I did it all through my pregnancy, my labour and now as she develops. For example Caroline has long narrow feet anndhands vs juliannes bear paws, or her hair is thicker than juliannes at this age, or she sleeps and poops better than Julianne. I wonder If we ever stop comparing the kids and just embrace their uniqueness?
im trying to do that.
in the meantime we found juliannes first bed so now I'm on the hunt for a good mattress, as I know we will end up sharing her bed from time to time or at least want the space for guests or readig her bed time stories.
so thankful my mom is still here to help as chads still away for work until tomorrow. Julianne is loving the extra attention and cuddles:)
also so we had her baby welcoming yesterday for those who hadn't had a chance to meet Caroline yet. It was nice to see those that came and we look forward to seeing those we missed at a future date:)
